Caramel Sauce


Sweet and simple sauce recipe that is delicious with an ice-cream.

  • 220ml hot wate
  • 220g sugar
  • 70ml cold water

Dissolve the sugar in cold water over a gentle heat. Stir gently, until the sugar dissolves. Continue to simmer until the syrup caramelizes to a chestnut color. Remove from the heat, pour in the hot water and return to the heat again. When the caramel dissolves and the sauce is smooth, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
