Mushroom Sauce

If you like mushroom, you will certainly like this mushroom sauce recipe too. Enjoy.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15g butter
  • 1 onion (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (peeled and crushed)
  • 225g button mushrooms, wiped and sliced
  • 150ml dry white wine
  • 150ml Crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Heat the oil with butter in a frying pan. Add the onion and cook until onion softened, but not coloured. Add the garlic and the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are soft. Add the wine and reduce the heat. Stir in the crème fraîche, parsley and seasoning.
