Redcurrant Sauce
Simple and delicious sauce recipe, that goes well with lamb, fowl, ham or paté.
- 125 ml water
- 150g redcurrants
- 150g sugar
Remove the strings from the redcurrants first. Put the sugar and water into a saucepan and stir over a medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring it to the boil. Toss in the redcurrants and bring it back to boil again. Cook for 5 minutes, uncovered.
